Barista - Part-Time
We’re looking for part-time baristas to make quality beverages and specialty hot drinks, to work the drive thru and the cash register, to keep the store clean and well-stocked, to do so quickly and efficiently, and to form good customer relationships. Orestod, through all of its member companies, is dedicated to its culture and creating a positive work environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
- Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or currently attending high school
- Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to problem solve quickly
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
Ideal candidates will work 25 to 29 hours per week. At this time, we can’t accommodate candidates who can only work specific, short shifts. Shifts are currently available as openers starting between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, and closers working until approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
